The nursery is finally done!!!!!!!!

This wall stencil was almost the death of us all it was so much more work than we anticipated! I'm so glad we had good friends and family to come to the rescue! Todd and I might have killed each other if we had to do it alone! thanks Trav and Chad!!!

However the finished project looks awesome if I do say so myself!! Its finally done!! now all we need it a baby to put in it!!!! such a cute room!

I LOVE the crib bedding my mom made for me! its perfect its exactly what I imagined! I have said it before but my mom is sort of amazing! I so wish I could sew!

Mother's day-Baby shower

I adore my mom I hope that one day I can be half the mom for my kids that she has been for me! She is hands down my best friend if I go a day with out talking to her its a weird day! She has done so much for me and my siblings there is no way I could ever repay her. I'm so glad my baby will have this super grandma she has already spoiled her rotten! she threw me this beautiful shower this weekend she worked her guts out and i love her soooo much!! Happy Mother's Day Mom!!

My mother-in-law is such an awesome lady i honestly couldnt have picked a better family to marry into! She raised 4 boys and can I just say they are such gentlemen and sweet well behaved guys. I have no idea how she did it! Hopefully she will give me lots of parenting advice so my kidlets can be as awesome as hers! Little Joslyn has the best Mimi and Grandma ever! such a lucky girl!

Spring/ Our new home!

I'm huge! and this was a week ago I doubt I'll be posting a ton more pics. not pleased with what's happening with my body!

Here is the spring wreath I made. I think it says "Hey neighbors we are pretty cool you should come get to know us!" Well thats what i was aiming for. It's so nice being in our own place we are loving it! we are with out a couch and a bunch of other furnishings I'll post pics whne we get more settled!

We are starting to paint the baby's room I promise it will be much cuter than this. Here are some before pics!

Almost Done!!!!

I'm still on my crafty kick! I made these cute Binky Clips. They were so easy I just used ribbon, suspender clips, velcro and permanent fabric glue. so ridiculously easy and these are pretty pricy if buy them from a baby boutique i bet they were like a dollar each at the most! The blue and the gray ones are for my cute friend Kaysi (due any day) i love these i was proud of myself. many more crafts to come!!! Oh isn't is so beautiful?! Do you see that little sign in the top right window? its says SOLD! yup we are so big we bought a house! its almost done all that is left is carpet which goes in tomorrow, and then just the grass. we are so excited we get to move in the last weekend of the month! Then i can start on our babies nursery!!! eek cant wait start getting excited to see all the pics! alright its crunch time I have less than ten weeks to get ready for Joslyn's arrival! this pic was a week ago so I'm 30.5 weeks now. I'm not going to lie I have actually really enjoyed being pregnant. I didn't have much morning sickness. I think its safe to say i have had a pretty easy pregnancy so far. Although I do really miss sleeping on my stomach! ha I love feeling her wiggle and kick i even like being kicked in the ribs! ha I already love this little girl so much I cant wait to meet her she is so spoiled by her grandmas already. Todd will be the cutest daddy. He gets so excited when we see little tiny baby dresses he says " aw Babe look how cute!!" . ha gotta love him I'm sure he will train her to be a daddy's girl.

Still not in our house yet which makes getting the nursery ready extremely difficult!!! However im moving forward! If you know my Mom you know she is the best mom ever!!! She is so crafty! she is making Joslyn's crib bedding.Thats what the pink damask fabric and the one with the stripes and some other coordinating fabric will be. and the beige/cream fabric is (and it was 50% off at JoAnns Score!!!) what i chose to rehapoulster the beautiful rocking chair that my cute sister-in-law Jenny gave me its a glider kinda looks like a wing-backed chair its so perfect and basically band new. the only thing is that its brown and blue i need it to be white and cream. I'll post pics asap! I so wish i would have let my mom teach me to sew she offered so many time i always said no now i'm regreting it so much! i have been doing other crafts too like the rose ball but there will be so much more to come!! cant wait till we get to move in EEK!!

Our House!

This is our super cute Townhouse! Almost completed they told us we should be able to move in the end of April. It's in Riverton such a cute neighborhood! we went to the ward today for the first time we already feel at home there! I'm pretty sure its going to be a gated community so thats really fancy! Since we are moving in the end of April and the baby is coming the middle of june, Todd and I are going to be working like crazy people trying to get everything set up before our princess arrives. I think I'm already in the "nesting" stage of my pregnancy so not being able to get anything decorated and all figured out and organized is driving me NUTS!!! I still cant believe that we get to live in such a nice place! Since furnishing your home is so crazy expensive i am so into repurposing old dingy furniture if anyone knows and good websites or blogs that have good tutorials let me in on it! :) More pics to come

the CRUISE!!!!

i just love Tay in the background! the highlight of my trip.. the tinted face sunscreen hahahahah in the Taxi on our way to basically our private beach! the nasty dragons that were waiting for us as soon as we got off the boat in St. Thomas.. yuck! All the Allen boys! eating yummy burgers on the boat!! the beautiful beach and our boat in he background I'm trying to hide my belly behind Todd Tay, Todd and T.j. doing some yoga on the beach! some crazy lady doing yoga on the beach. it was so awkward to watch ha Todd getting sassy playing some beach volleyball! i could not participate so i was playing photographer! fist day of our cruise if it looks like we just woke up its cause we did! ha we were ready for the beach in Princess Cayes!!!
