Day just for Valentine's

Definition of valentine- A person to whom one sends such a card or whom one asks to be one's sweetheart.

Interesting right? Ill give todd a Valentine this year asking him to be my valentine forever! If I don't get one in return heads are gonna roll! :)

So I decorated my kitchen table for the holiday and thats all ha I was just too lazy!

This picture frame sat on the mantle at my parents house when I was growing up. it used to be gold and there was a picture of my Grandpa McCaul whom passed away before I was born. So now when i look at it in my house that memory comes back to me. I love items that have family sentiment! thanks for letting me have this frame Mom!

ugh this is her new thing she sits in her high chair a lot and just plays so I put toys on her tray and she freaks out and slaps and pushes the toys till the fall on the floor. She isn't happy unless all the toys are on the ground. then she whines cause all of her toys are gone. She is just in that stage! grrr

I love this song from phantom of the opera! it helps that the whole musical is about a girl named Christine!I have this weird thing that I love when I hear people say my name. ha when I heard this song I couldnt help think of my wonderful husband Todd and how much I love this guy, how lucky I am that I bagged such a wonderful ma ! I don't want people to start gagging so I'll stop with the mushy stuff. :)

If we had a traditional wedding the lyrics of "all I ask of you" would be great vows! so I used my fav website Picnik(which is closing in April WTH) to add the lyrics to the lovely picture taken by blush photography. My dear Todd is away on business in Philly so I'm missing him! its so true that absence makes the heart grow fonder :)

There is an interesting story behind this pic after changing a poopy diaper I rolled it up and set it by the door so I would take it to the trash but before doing so I called my mom just to chat then like 5 minuets later the my horror I look over and J and had the diaper torn open and in her hands all over her mouth and rubbed in my carpet! ew even though i was mad I snapped a pic cause I knew I would laugh later!

wearing Todd's glasses cause I think I'm funny. I recently got some Mac lipstick and I wear it almost daily! I am in love with it and it stays on all day! I also rock the top knot or "mom hair" cause I'm way too lazy to do anything else with it!

My babe will be 8 months on the 18th! what?? I feel like I just brought her home from the hospital! I cant even believe how much I love being a mommy. Its hard not to love my sweet happy smiley girl! We are so lucky to have her as a daughter!

I need to brag for a minute!

I cant stand it anymore there are two very lucky girls in our house! Our Daddy deserves some recognition! I swear my husband is a machine i don't know how he does everything! he works full time goes to school full time and has time to bath the baby and tuck her in bed! Todd kisses me goodbye at 5:30am and then we don't see him again till 8 or 9:30! then when he does finally get home he scoops up Joslyn and has her doing her cutest little giggle with in 5 minutes! I especially love him the nights when he has been gone all day and i have been home just taking care of J and I absolutely had it with her and I need a break he takes her and gets her ready for bed with out the slightest complaint! On saturdays which is his only day off from everything he watches Joslyn for 8 hours while I am at work! I'm pretty sure that is Joslyn's favorite day of the week, she LOVES her daddy! He is our super hero and we love him so much! he even goes to sushi restaurants with me even though he finds them repulsive! I don't know how I got so lucky to bag an amazing guy like Todd! He is the best hubby and daddy anyone could ask for and we are very blessed! okay i can stop bragging now. :)

My Baby is Huge!

I have decided its time to finally update my pathetic excuse for a blog! Yesterday my sweet Joslyn turned 6 month old! I cant believe it! She is 1/2 a year old i feel like we had her just last week!! Joss is such a daddy's girl she thinks everything he does is hilarious! she is the sweetest baby i have ever dealt with! She hardly ever cries, she is constantly smiling. I agreed it was the longest night of our lives! she slept between us we both were half way off our queen bed. We were both scared we would roll over on her. Anyway we all survived and i think she is feeling better she is napping and I'm exhausted! Welcome to mommy hood!

I wish she would stay little it makes me sad they grow so fast!!

She was born June 18, 2011 She weighed 6 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 inches long

we are so in love with our precious girl she has become our world. its crazy how you can fall in love with someone so fast! i have so many fun pictures from when she was born ill do another post but i seriously don't have the patience to wait for blogger to post all of them.

We are so blessed she was born healthy however she was "tongue tied" which means her tongue is too short so she doesn't suck correctly so she couldn't nurse the doctor had to clip the skin underneath he tongue Todd and I watched it was so sad! but she sucks better now but has to be bottle fed so i pump and put the milk in a bottle for her. she sleeps pretty good she usually wakes up to eat and thats all she is so strong already she lifts her head up when you are burping her and stares at your face like she is trying to figure you out. Joslyn loves her daddy he can always calm her down and put her to sleep, he is so cute with her makes my heart melt we love our sweet baby so much and i know i have way too much fun dressing her and putting headbands in her. stay tuned better posts to come!!!
